Yesterday was a busy day. After returning from a delightful and very early hike in the countryside, I found myself immersed in a variety of obligations. From making some dairy deliveries to local customers, to preparing delivery orders, and then doing my mother's daily grocery shopping. All of this, coupled with a hot afternoon, a power outage, and a late lunch, meant that I didn't have time until 4:00 PM to sit quietly in my small studio to select, process, and edit photographs...
Ayer fue un día ajetreado, después de llegar de una deliciosa y muy tempranera caminata al campo, me vi sumergido en diversas obligaciones. Desde hacer algunas entregas de de productos lácteos a clientes locales, hasta elaborar ordenes de entrega y luego hacer las compras diarias de víveres para mi madre. Todo esto sumado a una tarde calurosa, un corte de suministro eléctrico y a un tardío almuerzo, terminó conjugándose para que no pudiese tener tiempo, sino hasta las 4:00 PM, para sentarme en mi pequeño estudio tranquilamente a seleccionar, procesar y editar fotografías...

Since I started taking photos almost two decades ago, I've used this as my therapy, my catharsis, and my yoga. So it's a very unlikely event that I'd let a day go by without processing and editing some of my photos. In fact, since I've been on #Hive, this habit of mine has become even more pronounced... While before #Hive I already shared my photos on social media, being in this ecosystem has made me evolve as a photographer to levels I never thought possible... This is actually nice for me... 😉
Desde que comencé a hacer fotos casi dos décadas atrás, he usado esto como mi terapia, como mi catarsis y como mi "yoga". Así que es un hecho muy improbable el que yo deje pasar un día sin procesar y editar algunas de mis fotos. De hecho, desde que estoy en #Hive, esta costumbre mía se ha acentuado mucho más... Si bien ant4es de #Hive ya compartía mis fotos en redes sociales, el estar en esto ecosistema me ha hecho evolucionar como fotógrafo a niveles los cuales no creí posible... Esto es en realidad agradable para mi... 😉

On the other hand, I love walking these streets, seeing and photographing what's happening there, so this is something that's a daily and necessary part of my life...
Por otra parte; amo recorrer estas calles, ver y fotografiar lo que sucede en ellas, entonces esto es algo cotidiano y necesario...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7
