I have always lived in this same town. As a child, I used to wander around the surrounding country roads in the same way I do now, although with more energy and more hair 😂... Just as with the streets of the town, I know these country roads like the back of my hand. In addition, I have a lot of family and friends still living in the countryside, many of whom are still busy raising animals and planting crops, just as their parents and grandparents did... So, it's not difficult for me to wake up on a sunny Saturday morning and go out in search of some fresh air in the countryside; I can enter the grounds of almost every house here without permission, without any restrictions. Perhaps the only risk I run in doing this is suffering a caffeine overdose 😂☕️, because everywhere I visit, someone is sure to appear offering a cup of hot coffee that is impossible to refuse...
He vivido siempre en este mismo pueblo. De niño deambulaba por los caminos rurales de alrededor de la misma manera como lo hago ahora, aunque con más energía y más cabello 😂... De la misma manera que me ocurre con las calles del pueblo, estos terrenos campestres son para mi totalmente conocidos. Además, tengo un montón de familiares y amigos aún viviendo en el campo, muchos de ellos siguen ocupados en la cría de animales y sembrar la tierra, de la misma manera como lo hicieron sus padre y sus abuelos... Entonces, para mi no es difícil despertar una soleada mañana de Sábado y salir en busca de un poco de aire fresco en los predios rurales; puedo entrar sin permiso en los terrenos de las casas de casi todo aquí, sin tener ningún tipo de restricciones al respecto. Quizás el único riesgo que corro haciendo esto, sea el de sufrir una sobredosis de cafeína 😂☕️, pues en todos los lugares que visito, es seguro que alguien aparecerá ofreciendo una tasa de café caliente e imposible de despreciar...
So I go on these kinds of walks and behave much like I do when I take photos in the streets, capturing a variety of images of every scene or detail I find around me. Because the rural environment is not just landscapes and trails; there is a whole universe of other things happening there all the time. Spending a few hours exploring these places is undoubtedly highly rewarding from a mental, physical, and photographic point of view.
Entonces yo hago este tipo de recorridos y me comporto muy similar como cuando hago fotos en las calles, haciendo fotografías de carácter diverso con cada escena o detalle que encuentro a mi alrededor. Porque el entorno rural no es solo paisajes y senderos; hay un universo de cosas más ocurriendo allí en todo momento; dedicar algunas horas a recorrer estos lugares, es altamente gratificante desde el punto de vista menta, físico y fotográfico sin duda alguna...
The photos I am sharing in this post correspond to places south of the town's urban area. This place is generally referred to by everyone here as “Agua de Obispo” but within the same area there are places with other names such as “La Majada,” “La Musiuera,” and “La Cruz,” named after the customs of the people who live there... And it is a beautiful valley, I never tire of saying it; it is one of the most diverse and attractive places we have around here... In this place, you can find plantations, animals, mountainous landscapes, forests with streams running through them, productive and abandoned properties, people who work here and live off the land... It really is an excellent place to do what I love so much: “wander around and take photos”...
Las fotos que estoy compartiendo en esta publicación, corresponden a lugares al Sur del área urbana del pueblo. Este lugar es llamado generalmente por todos 1aquí "Agua de Obispo", pero dentro de la misma área hay espacios con otros nombres como "La Majada", "La Musiuera" y "La Cruz", llamados así por costumbres de las personas que viven allí... Y es un valle hermoso, no me canso de decirlo; es uno de los lugares más diversos y atractivos que tenemos por aquí... En este lugar se puede uno encontrar con plantaciones, animales, paisajes con montañas, bosques por donde circulan algunos arroyos, propiedades productivas y otras abandonadas, personas que laboran aquí y viven de la tierra... Es realmente un lugar excelente para hacer lo que yo amo tanto hacer: "deambular y hacer fotos"...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografías capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7
