Last night and during the early morning, a strong storm hit the valley where our town is located, so my night was somewhat restless because the noise of the wind and the enormous amount of rain kept me from getting a deep sleep for several hours... So today I woke up a little later than usual and with no desire to go for a walk outside the house... The morning, still humid and with some light drizzle, gave me the perfect excuse to lock myself in my small studio and sit in front of my PC to look at, process, and edit some of my street photos. That's how I ended up creating this post to share with you today on #Hive... 😉
Anoche y durante la madrugada una fuerte tormenta azotó el valle en donde está nuestro pueblo, así que mi noche fue un tanto intranquila pues el ruido del viento y de la enorme cantidad de lluvia, no me permitieron conciliar el sueño profundo durante varias horas... Así que hoy desperté un poco más tarde de lo acostumbrado y sin ánimos para salir a caminar fuera de casa... La mañana aún húmeda y con alguna llovizna débil, me dio la excusa perfecta para encerrarme en mi pequeño estudio y sentarme en frente de mi PC a mirar, procesar y editar algunas de mis fotos callejeras. Así fue como terminé construyendo esta publicación para compartir con ustedes hoy en #Hive... 😉

Estas son mis fotos cotidianas, mis fotos del día a día, esas las cuales amo tanto hacer para después extraer de ellas su significado y convertirlas un poco en mi "visión propia de lo que me rodea". Hago fotos -entre otras cosas- porque me gusta "transformar" lo que observo de manera, eso sí, muy comedida y teniendo la cautela de no alterar el sentido real de la imagen. Pero lo que quiero decir es transformar de manera tal que la imagen refleje lo que yo entiendo allí.
These are my everyday photos, my day-to-day photos, the ones I love so much to take, so I can extract their meaning and turn them into my own "personal vision of what surrounds me." I take photos—among other things—because I like to "transform" what I observe, albeit in a very measured way, taking care not to alter the true meaning of the image. But what I mean is to transform it in such a way that the image reflects what I understand there.

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7
