👌 After presenting some years inviting @wolfgangsieberth and starting to share our little conversation/reflexion, my friend Jean-François Houben @rgpd decided to join our lovely community on Hive. 👏👏👏

Jean-Francois lives in Belgium where he studied at the University "Archivism" and then launched "the Archive Project". As an RGPD consultant, he helps organizations, institutions and businesses gain confidence, focusing on ethics, security and peace of mind through RGPD compliance.

Passionate about life, I had the chance to cross his path when he invited me to meet and join the private club BAL (Belgian African Luxembourgian) as briefly presented in this previous post made by @thechamber the account of F. Lenearts and managed by @rgpd and @jnmarteau.
I love to follow his journey and I love to exchange with him! Today, I am happy to count him not as a partner or colleague but as a true friend sharing values. I am confident that one day I will return all the help he has given me by cooperating with him because he is very talented and expresses himself with intelligence. Maybe Hive is the opportunity I was waiting for to have such a front line and not have to anticipate with punchlines.
Are you interested in the beauty of life, especially the identification of governance, conformity, archives (all styles), fine art, good food (of course!) and travel? Then you'll probably share many common interests with Jean-François and you'll probably find a lot to share with him!
Currently, he plans to write about his daily discoveries, the people he meets, their struggles and adventures, and all the meaningful experiences he has around him. He might as well share some more personal content once in a while and maybe he will share his experience about the @rgpd project or @gov-as-a-service projects in which he has been participating :)
What is wonderful about Jean-françois is you can feel while he is speaking or writing that he is engaging as well as really enjoying learning, exploration and sharing discoveries. Jean-François is treasuring memories, experiences and in general lessons that he learnt. Whatever he is engaging in or when he is meeting people showing his engagement, he is concerned, working hard and valuing it.

I think I could write a lot about him and the incredible journey he's going through, but I'll try to let him share his own story and our common projects! :-)

J'aime suivre son parcours et j'aime échanger avec lui ! Aujourd'hui, je suis heureux de le compter non pas comme un partenaire ou un collègue mais comme un véritable ami partageant des valeurs. J'ai confiance qu'un jour je lui rendrai toute l'aide qu'il m'a apportée en coopérant avec lui car il a beaucoup de talent et s'exprime avec intelligence. Peut-être que Hive est l'opportunité que j'attendais pour compter sur une telle ligne de front et ne pas avoir à anticiper avec des punchlines.
Vous vous intéressez à la beauté de la vie, en particulier à l'identification de la gouvernance, à la conformité, aux archives (tous styles confondus), aux beaux-arts, à la bonne cuisine (bien sûr !) et aux voyages ? Alors vous partagerez probablement beaucoup d'intérêts communs avec Jean-François et vous trouverez sans doute beaucoup de choses à échanger avec lui !
Actuellement, il prévoit d'écrire sur ses découvertes quotidiennes, les gens qu'il rencontre, leurs luttes et leurs aventures, et sur tout ce qui l'entoure et toutes les expériences significatives qu'il vit. Je pense que je pourrais écrire beaucoup de choses sur lui et sur l'incroyable voyage qu'il traverse, mais je vais essayer de le laisser partager sa propre histoire et nos projets communs ! :-)
