We pretty much tried growing everything in our little garden in our backyard. From corn to beans, aloe veras, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, beets and now watermelon, which had few seeds that we saved.

So we planted them just to try it out and see if they would turn out.
We planted two different kinds of watermelon and to our surprise they started growing very nicely.
The vines went crazy and took over my whole garden. They climed over my peppers, cucumbers and aloe veras.
We didn't use any fertilizers, we just wanted to see if they would grow and give us watermelons, especially since it's winter time here right now, which means a lot of rain. Too much rain for the watermelons.
This watermelon turned out just perfect. It was very sweet and juicy. If we waited longer a few days, it would have been too ripe.
We also have another 3 watermelons growing and 4 watermelons that are long and dark green with lighter stripes. Can't wait to try them out also.
Thank you for joining me and our watermelon harvest. Hope you enjoyed it.

I am a great supporter of @familyprotection which is working very hard to help the families stay together and this project is the most amazing project that I would suggest for everyone in this hive community to check it out and support it and by doing it we are helping people in need who are trying to keep their kids safe from being taken away (kidnapped) by the Social Services.
