Is it Worth The Stop?

Finding a place to satisfy cravings might be hard, but for some, it isn't. Even kilometers away from home will find a way to appease one's cravings. Well, it was after the hive orientation in Daantabogon school, that we decided to stop in one of the famous cafes in town, the **Eddie's Cafe**. We previously ate at Burger Junction there was something our taste buds looking for, and then passed by the cafe so we came to a stop to magnify what we really looking for.  Come! Together let's witness what is inside the cafe.    The cafe's entrance has the most welcoming ambiance because of its *"banderitas"* (streamers), which seems its fiesta every day. It has a huge mango tree inside the cafe too. Where they can utilize it by putting designs on it and it also gives shed to diners here. We made our order, so while waiting, I roamed around to its confined area and looked closely at every detail of it. Actually, they have a clean and neat area for preparing the food. And it's awesome to witness how they put work into it.  Their tables and chairs are uniquely made and painted with varnish. Unique right? You need not worry about the sticky soil or mud during rainy days because they also have artistic gravel beneath the tables and chairs to protect us from getting dirt.    Tadaaah! Here's our order. One order of French Fries and four flavored smoothies. They chose dark chocolate smoothie and mine was strawberry (I really love strawberry, just recently☺️). At first sip, I ignored pieces of plastic (ground plastic) and then sipped another and then another. Every time I sip, there's plastic on my tongue. Oh, I can't take it anymore! I told my friend about the incident. So, I went to their front desk with my concern. I didn't make a scene, just a simple conversation. She apologized and replaced another strawberry smoothie. And with excitement, I sip for a bigger one and then such plastic on my tongue! Not again! So, I didn't finish my smoothie such an unpleasant experience! But I didn't show them that I disliked the replacement. Regarding my friends' smoothies, it was all good. They didn't taste plastic so they emptied every cup of it. I guess not all of the diners here have the same experience as mine, maybe they didn't notice they mixed plastic, or was it because of their ice? Hmmm, I can't pinpoint though. Nonetheless, they served food great. How can I testify that? Because they have been in the industry for how many years and survived until now.  We went home at 5 o'clock and it was almost sundown. It's a great reminder for me/us that we should choose **kindness** every day amidst adversity. Each of us made mistakes and we should learn from them before we perish from this world. So, is it worth the stop? Well, yes! Because I have learned a lesson with the aid of other people's presence. That's it for today's picked ideas Hive friends! See you on the next one! -----  -----
