Car Walk is allegorical art by Joe Chiappetta

The muscle car that could only walk was held back its whole life from reaching full potential. Let that not be you.

This is allegorical art with many gears to it, so the prudent mechanic will process its message mile after mile... which brings us to the tale of...

The Talkians vs. The Brevions

Extra long in the tooth, the Talkians were a large group that greatly valued those who write using 1000 words or more. Yet among them was a talented minimalist speaker, with extensive drawing and painting abilities. His name was Mino. For years, this exasperated minimalist yearned to just drop his art, describe it as concisely as possible, and be happy with this sincere communication: a carefully calculated blend of image and words.

Yet the rest of the Talkians--persuasive as they were--constantly pressured Mino the Minimalist with clever traditions and fine sounding arguments. "You've got to put much more into your communications here. Give us more proof-of-brain: that you're giving us everything you've got. You must become like us or you won't be rewarded with the rich blessings of our community." That was the frequent warning to the minimalist.

Discouraged, one fateful day, Mino realized why he was so fundamentally unfulfilled while being with the Talkians. They kept trying to change his code--the very essence of the way he creatively operated. And that was not cool. Mino finally left that community and never looked back. After much relief, followed by prayer and searching, the minimalist soon found the Brevions. Masters at brevity, efficiency, and only minimal rules that were absolutely necessary, the Brevions were a newer community who understood that Mino was indeed already putting everything into his art and into his minimalist statements. The value was always there. This fostered a mutual appreciation and acceptance among every creator in the group.

Mino surrendered his legs for fast wheels. He was no longer walking; he was racing to grand achievements with new friends and less imaginary rules. He was finally free to communicate in a way that moved and grooved to the unique rhythm of his heart. And the Brevions all reached the finish line together--as one.
