Depicted as a giant blue dove, the unseen, yet very real Holy Spirit calls us ever onward toward a greater faith in that which cannot be seen. Just as true religion takes faith, as an artist for over 5 decades, trying to draw that which has no material form also takes great faith and determination. In fact, the very act of drawing anything essentially takes some degree of faith too, since essentially, an artist starts with nothing, yet using vision, creates something. This happens because the artist believes that creation is worth making. The key word here is "believes," as in faith!
Similarly, faith in God starts with the unseen, and through a vision that must be nurtured time and time again, that faith creates a new vision, and eventually, a fully realized, confident vision. Most excitingly, those who share the same vision as God--and therefore the same faith--become family... a holy family.
