The past two weeks have been hectic at work, and it is going to continue that way as we wrap up the year.
I was away in Fox Glacier, and my vehicle broke down, I managed to drive it to Greymouth, where I spent the night and got it fixed at Ford the following day. While waiting for my vehicle to be fixed, I went for a cappuccino in cafe.
Luckily, I didn’t wait for too long for my vehicle to be fixed.
I woke up to the above message from hivebuzz today as I marked my 8th year on Hive, it was a surprise because like every year when I don't remember my Hive birthday so big thanks to Hivebuzz for always giving us the stats.
Hive has been home for me over these years, I have learned, made friends, and met friends both online and physically.
There have been years when I never missed a day without posting except on days when the chain went through a soft fork development. So it's been a son ride, and I am still enjoying it.
There have been times when Hive was my only source of income. I could go on and on, but the ones that are friends with me here over the years know the journey.
I show up now and then, but it's nothing compared to +2 years ago before I moved to New Zealand 🇳🇿 for work.
Nevertheless, I am still enjoying my time on Hive and trying to build my Hive stake back up. Happy birthday to me around here 😉
As for the coffee, it was just what I needed while waiting for my vehicle to get fixed. How much is a cup of coffee ☕️ from your side of the world? It cost me USD3.53 for this one.
Fuck I have never written so much words in a while! 🤣
