As mentioned in my previous post, here are the photos of my Putangirua Pinnacle walk in Wellington. The weather wasn't great, but it held up from pouring rain for us to enjoy the walk.
Did I say enjoy the walk? That was a difficult walk! Very steep, but yes, I enjoyed it as it was much need for.

Pinnacles track walk is a 1.5km one way, and it takes 45 minutes one way. The track involves walking and tramping so watching your step is very important to avoid injury.

Here we stop for a view of the ocean, and to photograph the moment โจ๏ธ

I saw these stairs from a distance and said; "what the fuck, will this track ever end!"
At this stage I was breathing heavily and my legs could barely support me. ๐

The view of the pinnacles ridge pillars began to emerge ๐

And we reached the Lookout point, what a reward!

These dramatic earth pillar formations are so dramatically beautiful, they are similar to the Clay Cliffs walk that I did in Omarama in the South Island, so getting to do another earth formation walk in the North Island for me was cool ๐
