I was away to Lumsden last week for work. It was a 7 hours drive from Christchurch, so that was quite a drive, to say the least.
After my first stop to use the Gents in Geraldine, I stopped at Tekap and then Lake Pukaki.
Lake Pukaki will always be my favorite spot that I am never tired of photographing with a view of Mount Cook in the background.
It was a beautiful day, and Mt Cook looked stunning from afar. The following photos below are photos from Lake Tekapo.
It was very cold and had snowfall, which was now melting as I drove through Tekapp.
For a long 7 hours drive, stopping for a short walk and photos was a refreshing break.
I just love this photo ๐ธ, love the different natural colors ๐
And some snowy hills that are still melting make a great beautiful look
And you've got to love the beautiful color of the water!
