DaoStreet is a distributed community of individuals who interact across digital public blockchain protocols. Formally, the individuals working for DaoStreet are John Conlin and Ryan King. John is an American with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a law degree, both from the University of Michigan. Ryan is also American and a graduate of the Ross School of Business (UofM) with a focus in Finance and technical operations.
Both John and Ryan see the potential for cryptographic assets and protocols to impact the market for many goods and services. More specifically DaoStreet seeks to offer helpful commentary on blockchain related news/events and invest in growing platforms and communities.
DAO is an acronym for Decentralized Autonomous Organization. DAOs leverage computer code and logic to organize the provision of goods and services without the need for centralization in a single point of failure such as a board of directors or labor union.
Dao is also a concept in the Eastern Chinese tradition which signifies “The Way” or the boundary between Chaos & Order. This limit, while symbolic, underpins the human experience. In markets and in all other endeavors humans must find an optimum between the known and the unknown. In the cryptoasset industry this can be especially challenging. DaoStreet seeks to help others along this journey between Chaos and Order.
