WHY IS THE HIVE CHAIN SUCH A COOL TOOL FOR HOMESTEADERS?

Well there are probably an infinite amount of answers for that question, I'm going to cover a few that hit close to home for me.

A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE HERE ON OUR CHAIN

From the biggest, highest developed countries to the littlest, less developed, we have people here from around the world. All sharing stories, and information.

One thing I've discovered during homesteading is that the wonderful people in the less developed parts of the world have more problem solving common sense then those anywhere else. I believe their need to work with what they have makes it that way, and gives them a lot in common with us homesteaders. All I've meet here have been wonderful loving people and I have made several friends here that I know I will cherish for the rest of my life.

OUR COMMUNITY HERE ON HIVE

Homesteaders have a special place here on the Hive chain, and we do our absolute best to help one another. Whether it be through simply interacting and learning from one another, to supporting one another with curation. Or as it happens regularly, going that extra mile to travel to one's homestead and lend a helping hand!🥰 This community is simply amazing and there is nothing like it anywhere I've looked.(To find our awesome community, simply click on the "homesteading" tag on this post.)

EARNING POSSIBILITIES

Unlike the big conglomerates, such as FB, TWEETER, and so on, our parent company doesn't steal our information and data from us to line their pockets by selling it to others...Instead the exact opposite is true. They allow us to share our knowledge, interact with the world, learn anything we want....and get paid for doing so. For many, the little you earn starting out can be unappealing, but as anyone who has been her a bit will tell you, if you stick around and take time to interact with the community and produce good content it can become quite lucrative... especially for those who live simple lives. Not a content creator, no problem...curating good quality content can also earn a good bit of profit.💪💪

WHILE ON THE SUBJECT

I'd like to share some data concerning my own account here, and the different aspects of account growth, activity, and interactions. So first up...

Tough to tell from this chart, but last week I hit 2500HP!🥳🥳 This puts my vote value at $0.07. Not much, but I can vote about ten times a day and keep my vote value up. So that's a little less than seventy cents...may also not seem like much...to some, but to others this is enough money for food for their family for a day. So I share my upvote with my homesteading family and with my other friends I have here, and a little at a time I am changing the world with this alone.

My upvote also earns me curation rewards and that leads me to the next data chart...

CURATION REWARDS

As seen in the chart above, my curation totals vary drastically day to day. But every little payout only helps to build my account, and so also, helps me help others. The other end of this spectrum would be for the content creators here. It is your author rewards and is your share of the total payout for creating post or comments that are upvoted.

The big uptick on the right side of this chart is caused by our community becoming curated by the great, and powerful @ocd account. Our entire community thanks them and all their hard work they do for all our blockchain!!🤗🤗🥰🥰 Anyway, the best way to improve author rewards, other then by creating amazing content is by interacting with the community and by using other social outlets such as Discord(most communities on Hive have discord servers.) This is a great way to meet other members of the community, and an awesome way to promote your content. Plus, the community will do it's best to help you become an even better creator and guide you as you grow! Interaction on our chain can also be expressed in the form of a chart, so since we're on subject, let's see it.
