> **Have you ever had a season where you didn’t put your best effort into your farm, and suddenly everything seemed to go against you? That’s exactly what happened to me this time, and the clearest example is how weeds have finally taken over my guinea corn farm.**

When I first planted my guinea corn there were early bright signs that everything was going on just fine the seedlings sprouted, the rain came, and the green shoots gave me a sign of a good harvest but the mistake we make most times is that we never acknowledge the presence of the weeds that are humble at the first instance until things get out of control. Then we start looking for a way out that might not be feasible.

## 👀 What I See in the Farm Right Now
**Looking at the farm right now, the defects are clear and painful to accept:**
* 🌱 Nutrient competition has left the guinea corn pale instead of bright green.
* 📉 Low density in some patches where the weeds dominated completely.
* ⚖️ Uneven growth shows the crop simply couldn’t compete with the aggressive grasses.
* 🌿 Weeds have taken over most rows, choking out the crop I had so much hope for.

As it struggled to grow, the weeds grew faster than I expected, shooting up tall and strong while my guinea corn was left behind.

Though there is still time to recover but the yield will not be anywhere close to what it should be.
**Do you take weeds for granted too, or are you a farmer who prefers to deal with them early?**
