What Makes The Temple of Leah Unique?
The Temple of Leah is located in the hills of Barangay Busay offering stunning views of the city. The temple has an amazing architectural and structural design that was constructed in the year 2012 and the beautiful story behind of building, this temple is the monument built by Teodorico Soriano Adarna for his undying love for his late wife Leah Villa Albino Adarna.
It has 24 chambers inside the temple including the library, art gallery, museum and other collections. You can also find different kinds of statues but the highlight of the temple is the nine-foot bronze statue that portrays Leah Villa Albino Adarna as she was chosen as Matron Queen of her Alma Matter the University of Southern Philippines.
Glasshouse Cafe in Temple of Leah
If you want also to take snacks and relax inside the area of the temple they have Glasshouse Cafe. It offers lots of delicious food. You can sit there while posting your beautiful capture of the temple and don't be afraid there are also lots of chairs with umbrellas in the area to refresh and relax.
Amazing Experience:
Before entering the temple you need to pay an entrance fee of ₱150.00 per head but for kids and senior citizens is much less. Upon entering the temple I was amazed as the temple is so big and has a huge area perfect for everyone. There are so many people visiting this place because of its beauty and the fresh air of the area. When I got inside of temple I witnessed the beautiful architectural and structural designs of the temple and I saw that building this temple was full of love and so beautiful. I enter some of its chambers that are full of collections like porcelain jars, art paintings, a library and other beautiful collections of the late Leah Villa Albino Adarna inside the of its chambers. It was truly preserved and maintained as Teodorico Soriano Adarna said, "it will withstand time and still be appreciated by the millennium."
How To Get There:
If you are a commuter you can take a jeep from Cebu City to Busay, then switch to a habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) heading to the Temple of Leah. If you have a private car it must be convenient for you to go straight to the temple if don't know the location you can use Google Maps as a guide or ask locals in Barangay Busay. Parking space is available at the site you just only pay ₱50.00 for it.
