Good morning great minds happy to have you here again, greetings to great @diyhub .
I will be showing you how to make this simple plinted gown.

Materials needed, Ankara fabric, duchess, scissor, aiming gum, tape, chalk, lining, tread, zip and ruler.

I started by measuring out my half length which is sixteen inches, and I come down again by twenty inches Then I used my ruler to trace out the V curve and connected it with my half length inches, measure out my hand pit, tracing it with the ruler and chalk and cut it out.

After that I placed the front part on the other side of the fabric and give out one inches allowance for zip and then I cut it.

Then I proceed to cut out the hand using the duchess fabric and a barn I will be attaching at the edge, using the Ankara.

I also cut out the Ankara fabric I will be using for the cape on the neck and rube for the hand.
After that I proceed to cut the Ankara fabric of about two and half yards for the plinting.

I proceed to cut out lining for the back and front, then I fixed the lining This is the back after lining.

And this is the front after lining And I proceed to fixed the cape and this is it, I sewed it through inside and turn it out, using my aiming gum inside to gum it.

Now I proceed to plint the duchess on the fabric for the hand.

Now I proceed to join the shoulder part , fix the hand by plinting it on the shoulder, afer that I proceed to join it together and fixing the two of the ropes in each of the hand and this is it.

After joining that I proceed to plint the Ankara fabric of the upper side and after that I fixed the zip and that's it.

Here is the plinted gown.
