Good morning hive family, hope your day is going well. I'm here to show you how I made this straight bubu gown.

Here I have my Ankara material, lining, asoke, Zip, tape, chalk, tread, and my scissor .

First thing to do, I measure out my length from the full material and fold it by two, i ensure it gives me the size I want and measure out my hand pit and neck using my chalk to trace it out and I placed the first one on the other side and cut the back by giving one point five inches allowance for zip.

I cut out my lining for it by placing the material on the lining and cut out the exact shape.

Then i proceeded to cut out my hand and Pocket.

I cut out my Asoke for the neck, hand and pocket.

Before fixing the lining I will first fix the asoke on the front then fix the lining for the front.

After that I also fixed my asoke fix at the hand and pocket.

After all that I proceed to join the both side of the gown together, fix my hand, and the pocket, then iron it finally here is the straight bubu gown ready to wear.
