9 Days In!

So 9 days have passed since germination, and placing the sprouted seeds into soil. Since seedings do not need much nutrients, I choose to use ProMix. I have found it to be great starting soil, and it is very easy to obtain since it is at Walmart. Between the time I stopped growing, and now the local grow shop has closed. I am not even sure if a new one has taken its place. What I do know I would have to drive 30 min to another one. It really is a shame though. It tells me that less people are growing for their personal use, and more than likely choosing to go to the stores.

For me I have been relying on my friends, and every now, and then hitting up the local shops. But there is nothing like growing your own. As @cowboyblazerfan commented in my last post, "Heck ya. I love growing. Have fun. It’s always nice to blaze a bowl right out of your own stash you grew yourself." Which sums it up right there! But what is the best about having your own stash your grew? Well you know exactly where it came from! Nowadays with Fentanyl you can never be to careful. Then when your smoking on your own stash, it is as fresh as it gets! Which is my most favorite thing about growing my own medicine. :)

For my pots I recycled part of the carton wine is shipped in. I did this so that way I can throw these directly into a bigger pot when the time comes, without disturbing the roots with a transplant. This is the most important thing to remember when you grow Autos. They are very sensitive when it comes to shock. So that also means that topping them is something you normally don't do with Autos. Although I have seen it done before with great success. But for what I know, I myself would not. That is only because I am a rookie when it comes to Auto Flowering Cannabis.

Great question Arthur! Auto Flowering cannabis is a type of cannabis that will Automatically begin to flower after a certain amount of days. No matter what. Photoperiod cannabis is the type of cannabis that needs 12 hours of darkness to begin to flower. It really is cool to see the ways cannabis has adapted to its climates! Now both have their ups, and downs. It really all depend on what you what to do. The reason why I am growing an Auto is because of the area where I am going to grow. Since the Sun only shines bright for part of the year, I need to take advantage of it by growing something that will finish fast. An Auto Flower is perfect for this. So stay tuned, and hopefully I keep this success rate at 100% until finish time!
