Concurso de Banner / Banner Contest

En esta oportunidad les presento mi participación en un concurso creado por @steamdan para @easydex .
La idea principal es generar un banner, o lo que algunos conocen como una firma para representar a @easydex aquí les muestro el trabajo que realicé.

##### 1. Lo primero que hice fué tomar una captura de pantalla para tener la referencia del logo y poder re-dibujarlo o mejor dicho vectorizarlo usando Adobe Illustrator.
##### 2. Creé un degradado usando tonos azules y morados para generar una imagen que vaya acorde a los artes que @EasyDEX usa, a su vez jugué con diferentes colores y formas de presentar el Icono de @EasyDEX de esta forma decidí usar el blanco puro.
##### 3. Generando lineas rectas consecutivas conseguí crear una especie de malla, tratando de mantener esa idea de conexión entre diferentes puntos de información, agregando pequeños círculos para denotar ese encuentro de datos.
##### 4. Por último pero no menos importante, me dí a la tarea de variar un poco la opacidad en las lineas de menor a mayor con respecto a su proximidad con el icono, a modo de centrar la atención en el mismo.
##### 5. La opción de agregar texto o el nombre al banner esta disponible, aunque en esta ocasión decidí no agregarla para darle protagonismo al icono y así incentivar a las mentes de los lectores a familiarizarse con el.

This time I'm here to show you my entry in the contest created by @steamdan for @easydex .
The main idea is to generate a banner, or what some know as a signature to represent @easydex so here I'll show you my entry.
# # ###### #  # ##  # ###### ##### 1. The first thing I did was to take a screenshot to have the logo reference so I could re-draw it or rather to vector it in Adobe Illustrator.. ##### 2. Create a gradient using blue and purple tones to try to generate an image that matches the arts @EasyDEX uses while playing with different colors and ways to present the @EasyDEX Icon to decide to use pure white. ##### 3. Generating consecutive straight lines I managed to create a kind of grid, trying to maintain that idea of a connection between different points of information, adding small circles to denote that encounter of data. ##### 4. Last but not least, I took on the task of varying the opacity of the lines from minor to major with respect to their proximity to the icon, in order to focus attention on it. ##### 5. The option to add text or the name to the banner is available, although this time I decided not to add it in order to give protagonism to the Icon and in this way encourage the minds of readers to become familiar with it.

Este era el diseño del banner ya terminado, sin embargo como les expliqué en el apartado del proceso, decidí agregar unos ajustes de opacidad y ciertas sombras para darle mayor profundidad y dinamismo al diseño. En dado caso cualquiera de los dos podrían ser usados. Ademas aquí abajo, pueden ver un GIF que realicé para mostrar el proceso completo
This was the final Banner design, nontheless as i explain in the process, i decided to add some opacity adjusments plus certain shadows in order to give more depth and dinamycs to the desing.Both of the designs can be used, it's up to what they like the most, or what fits the most. Plus Down here you can see a GIF I made to show the full process.

Soy un ilustrador, diseñador gráfico y artista del tatuaje, solo por nombrar algunas de mis habilidades, al momento de crear mis trabajos busco mantener una armonía entre color y forma, siempre pensando en no sobre cargar la imagén facilitando así la entrega del mensaje al momento de llegar a su receptor. A través de los años nuevos conocimientos van siendo apilados en las gavetas de mi cabeza, día a día dando mi mayor esfuerzo por ser mejor que ayer.

I am an illustrator, graphic designer and tattoo artist, just to name a few of my skills, when I create my work I try to maintain a harmony between color and shape, always thinking about not overloading the image and thus facilitating the delivery of the message when it reaches its recipient. Over the years new knowledge has been piled up in the drawers of my head, day by day giving my best effort to be better than yesterday.
