I want to share with you how I made a beautiful Hawaiian flower out of silicone for a keyring. Using just a few materials and following a few simple steps, we can create many things with silicone, as it is extremely useful for us creators and crafters.
Materials I used to create my Hawaiian flower: -Silicone stick -Silicone gun -Paints -Paintbrush -Paper and pencil
Here are the steps to follow: First step: First, we will start by making our design, in this case a pattern. This time, I am going to make a Hawaiian flower. I love flowers, and I thought this design was very beautiful and special, as I am fascinated by nature, especially the sea and the beach.
Step 2: Once we have our pattern ready, in our second step we will continue by taking our hot glue gun and begin to add the hot glue around the edge of the flower design. I recommend always using hot glue as it dries quickly and is easier to work with.
Step 3: Next, we will continue filling in the entire design with hot silicone, covering everything without leaving any gaps. We will apply two or three layers so that it is hard and resistant. Finally, when it is dry, we will carefully remove the paper from the back.
Step 4: Once our design is ready, we will take our paints and paint the design in the color we like best. For the flower, I used dark blue, and for the pistil, I used yellow. We will apply two coats until the color is well covered. Once the front side is dry, we will paint the back.
Step 5: Next, we will continue with this fifth step by gluing the pistil in the center of the flower, as you can see.
Step 6: Finally, we will continue by taking a stainless steel chain and inserting it into the silicone flower, heating it with the nozzle of the glue gun. This will serve two purposes: it will hold the key and the flower at the same time.
Final result: this is how I made my beautiful Hawaiian silicone flower, ideal for decorating our key rings and at the same time renewing our friendships.
