Hello, everyone. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and that you are doing well. I wish you an excellent week. I would like to share with you a beautiful accessory for our keys, inspired by a beautiful whale. It is very easy to make, and you will love the result.
Materials I used:
-Silicone stick
-Silicone gun
-Paints
-Nail polish
-Paper and pencil
-Key ring
Here are the steps to follow: First, we will start by making a pattern with the theme we are going to work with. This time, I made a cute whale.
Next, with our pattern ready, we will continue by applying the silicone, preferably in a stick form, since hot silicone dries faster and is more resistant. We will start by adding silicone all around the whale, starting from the front and working towards the back, until the whale's body is covered. Once we have applied the first layer, we must apply a second or, if necessary, a third layer so that the design is a little thicker, which will make the material stronger. We will leave it to dry sufficiently.
Once our design has dried, we will continue by carefully removing the paper where we made the whale.
Then we will continue painting our whale. For this, I used white paint, starting by painting the whale's belly. Finally, I continued painting the rest of the whale's body dark blue. We applied the first coat, let it dry for a few minutes, and then applied the second coat until the paint was well covered. We also had to paint the back, but I only painted it completely blue so that the silicone wouldn't show.
Next, I continued applying a coat of nail polish, as this will protect the paint from damage and keep the design in place so that it can get wet without the paint falling off.
To finish the whale, we will continue by adding some black and white polka dots or spots to its body. I also made a small eye that is slightly to the side, as it is only on one side, just the outline as if the eye were closed.
I also added three white plastic stones to the top of the whale, then threaded a strong piece of string through it and attached it to the keyring, finishing the keyring.
This is the final result of my beautiful keyring inspired by a silicone whale. I hope you like the design. It's sturdy and very creative, friends.
