You can do everything right, and still get it wrong

Whenever I have a health setback, most of the times what keeps me going is the thoughts of bouncing back as soon as I can, because I know that the more it lingers, the more time I will spend on the sideline, and also the fear of the constant rampage this illness does to my body.

Constant stress, chronic conditions can take tolls on the body and when they happen repeatedly, there's only so much the body can take.

I've been taking some new medication to prevent this current health episode I just experienced, and they've been working very well, keeping my organs and blood healthier than it was, unfortunately it couldn't prevent me from experiencing the episode where I experience hematuria and lose blood and suddenly become pale and anemic.

This means that this episode has caused setbacks, all the repair that this medication has done, this episode I experienced has undone it all, and after taking this expensive medication for almost two years, all the medications effect has been undone by one huge health setback.

It gives me sleepless nights, because I thought this medication would make me immune to these episodes, unfortunately it hasn't.

I remember joining one group on Reddit it's called IGA NEPHROPATHY, it's about a group of people with a kidney condition where their bodies produce excessive IGA when they fall sick, get a flu, or anything that triggers their immune response.

Apparently these immune response makes their bodies produce excessive IGA which then goes into the kidney and damage the nephrons and causes protein to leak in the urine.

So apparently a flu, or anything that triggers immune response, also makes my blood to take an abnormal bad shape and breaks down, causing excessive hemolysis which then release blood from the kidney into the urine.

I have tried as much as possible to wash my hands always, stay away from thing that might give me flu, cause malaria or a fever, but then after all my efforts, I caught a flu on the 11th of August, which triggered immune response and broke down my blood system, and till now, I haven't recovered: pale, anemic and lost weight.

It's a proof of how hard you can be health conscious and still your body literally does whatever it wants. Although health consciousness is great and preventive healthcare measures are important, but sometimes it's basically useless for people whose conditions are autoimmune, chronic or genetic.

There are people that the COVID vaccines have destroyed their organs as well, sometimes autoimmune response can be deadly. This is why you should thank God for being perfectly healthy.
