The theme proposed for this contest is very appealing. The convergence of nature (especially vegetation) in urban areas is generally seen as something unusual, irregular, even almost absurd. The opposite would also be very striking, but perhaps it is not so common and is difficult to identify. And, I would add, the coexistence of the artificial with the urban itself, such as the photographic motif that has become very common of sports shoes hanging from urban power lines.
These are photos taken in parts of my city (Cumaná, Venezuela), where rural and urban life still coexist.
