Estoy nuevamente participando una semana mas de esta gran actividad llamada Hive Music Festival en su semana 155 y en la ronda 2. Como mencione antes, siempre decido una categoría y es lo que canto durante las 3 rondas de competencia, en estas rondas estoy cantando temas cristianos, que me recuerdan cuando yo asistía a la iglesia.
Hoy les traigo esos temas muy antiguos de la iglesia pero que eran de mi favoritos ya que es un tema sencillo y con letras repetitivas pero que nos permiten tener una conexión especial en el ámbito espiritual.
Este tema tiene por nombre, "sobre mi", y me trae un recuerdo muy lindo. Cuando yo era adolescente escuche este tema y quede enamorado de esta música, mas que todo porque la escuche en un ensamble coral, donde jugaban con las voces masculinas y femeninas, fue algo hermoso y como estaba en el coro de la iglesia, trate de replicarlo y salía muy lindo con todos los que cantábamos.
Aparte de que me gusta mucho este tema, lo que genera en mi es la nostalgia de aquellas personas con las que estuve y ya no veo, debido a que como me aleje de la iglesia y me cambie de casa, perdí el contacto con esas personas, pero eran personas que siempre tendré en el corazón recordándolos por los buenos momentos.
Para terminar quiero decirles que cantar este tema me llena de energías, recuerdo que en mi juventud cuando lo hacia a solas me sentía especial cantándola, las personas de la iglesia me la pedían que cante y eso me hacia sentir mejor, obviamente al ya no estar en la iglesia y no cantar con la devoción de antes, haces que no sea lo mismo que en esas épocas pero es un lindo homenaje que quería hacer.

I'm once again participating in this great event called Hive Music Festival, now in its 155th week and in Round 2. As I mentioned before, I always decide on a category and sing it during the three rounds of competition. In these rounds, I sing Christian songs that remind me of my time in church.
Today, I'm bringing you some very old church songs that were some of my favorites, as they're simple and have repetitive lyrics that allow us to have a special connection in the spiritual realm.
This song is called "sobre mi," and it brings back a very fond memory. When I was a teenager, I heard this song and fell in love with it, mostly because I heard it in a choral ensemble, where they played with male and female voices. It was beautiful, and since I was in the church choir, I tried to replicate it, and it came out very nice with everyone who sang.
Aside from the fact that I really like this topic, what it generates in me is nostalgia for those people I was with and no longer see, because when I left the church and moved house, I lost contact with those people, but they were people I will always have in my heart, remembering them for the good times.
Finally, I want to tell you that singing this song fills me with energy. I remember that in my youth, when I sang it alone, I felt special. People at church would ask me to sing it, and that made me feel better. Obviously, not being in church anymore and not singing with the devotion I used to have makes it different from those times, but it's a nice tribute I wanted to pay.
