My Today's Experience At the Market: The High Increase In Goods Prices

Hello members of the Be Entrepreneur community. You're welcome to my blog. I encountered something while I was at the market earlier today.

So I thought as much to share it here, so you could share your views too.

I went to the market to get a few handbags and undies. It's been over a month since I went there, because sometimes, I send my friend to get them for me.

It has been a while since I sold those undies, so I just decided to sell them again as a student and an entrepreneur.

I couldn't help but pay my way to the market, I do get those undies. I discovered that the road to the market has changed.

Everything looked strange to me. And I couldn't really recognize certain places again. It took the driver almost three hours to get to the market.

As God may have it, I reached there safely, and I quickly entered the market to buy those undies.

The prices they told me weren't pleasant to my hearing at all. I wasn't comfortable with it. Honestly, I thought it was only food item prices that had skyrocketed, but I didn't know everything in the market was included.

You may ask why I'm saying so, it's because I buy my undies in bulk, so I won't go to the market often. But this time around, I stayed too long at home, without going to the market to get them myself.

For the handbags, I used to purchase them at the rate of four thousand five hundred, but now it's seven thousand naira, or six thousand five hundred.

Before now, I used to purchase female panties at the rate of one thousand naira each, but now they told me it's one thousand eight hundred, while some are one thousand five hundred.

For the guy's undies. I used to buy boxers at the rate of one thousand five hundred naira, but it's two thousand naira now or three thousand naira.

And for the condom boxers, I do buy them in pairs. One pack consists of three boxers inside. I used to buy it at the rate of seven thousand, but guess what? They told me it's now ten thousand naira.

I was forced to ask the seller how much my gain would be, and she said that wasn't her business. So I had to do a little calculation. I discovered that the profit, is nothing to write home about. I didn't want to feel frustrated, so I decided to be strong.

I couldn't believe it after calculating everything. I couldn't help but purchase them because I didn't want to waste my transport fee.

How are the prices of things at your place? And how do you handle your customers now? Please don't chase your customers away because the prices of things have increased, but look for a better way to sell your goods without chasing anyone.

Thanks for stopping by.
