Greetings, here is another day to share my experience with you.
Today, I will be speaking on the topic self - esteem. As a student, self-esteem means believing in your ability, respecting yourself, as well as maintaining a positive attitude.
This is one thing students fail to understand. Many students don't believe in themselves. They never believe they could make it on their own without the help of anyone.
I'm in the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, and I'm done with level three hundred. So during one of our exams this semester, I think it was a course that was titled " Field method and research methodology"
It's a very interesting course, and it was handled by our Head of Department. He gave out his best.
He urged everyone to study very hard. He didn't want anyone to fail. So on the night before his exam day, I went to a night class to study.
So on my way to school, I saw my female coursemate, and she was dressed like someone who was going to a party.
So I asked her where she was heading, and she told me she was going to a party. Then I asked her how she intended to write the exams we had the next day, and she said I shouldn't bother.
I didn't know she had a friend who always helps her out. So on that fateful day, she sat with her friend, but the supervision was very strict, she couldn't ask her friend anything.
When I turned, I realized her script was blank. She submitted a blank script because she didn't believe in herself.
It's high time you start believing in yourself. How long will your friends continue to help you? Think about it.
Thank you for your time.
