Taking Care Of Your Health As A Student

Greetings members of the Hive Student Connect. You're all welcome to my blog.

Tonight, I want to deliberate on the topic taking care of your health as a student.

The word health in general is something we've been hearing every day.

And this is one of the things that could stop a student from achieving his goals.

As a student, no one should tell you when to go for a check-up. Don't expect anyone to tell you, you're having malaria, go to the hospital.

No, you're the one who is experiencing the pain. You know how you're feeling right inside of you.

But it's quite unfortunate that so many students experience these symptoms, yet they still prefer to remain in their houses till death comes for them.

I'm saying this because of what just happened to me. A few weeks ago, my life was in danger as a result of ignoring certain symptoms.

I have malaria and typhoid issues, but I sometimes pay deaf ears to their warnings.

Sometimes, I get drugs for myself; sometimes I refuse to. A few weeks ago, I noticed that I was experiencing a cold inside my body.

I didn't tell anyone about it. This thing kept disturbing me, till it got to the point that it entered my ribs.

It passed from my ribs to my back. I want to tell you that it was so painful. I couldn't breathe properly, and I couldn't go anywhere.

But I thank God it happened immediately after I finished my departmental exams.

So what I'm saying in essence is that as a student, you should not allow any sickness to remain in you.

Look for a way to be free from them, so your efforts in school won't be wasted.

Thank you all.

I remain @joyben.
