Good afternoon my sweet family, it's good to have you here in this space. I welcome you to my blog.
I want to share my weekend experience with you.
And I want you to please read through my post.
This weekend, I've been refreshing my memory on the word of God. And while studying the word of God, I discovered so many things I'd never known.
I didn't know finding time to read the Word of God could be this interesting. I didn't know I was missing a lot, but I thank God for his grace upon my life.
If you've not been studying your Bible, please start doing that daily, because it will help you as you continue to journey with God.
So this weekend, I was studying the book of Ezekiel. I don't know why God led me to those scriptures, but I know it's for my good, and it could also turn out to be your good.
I've studied the book of Ezekiel, chapters one, two, three, and four, and I've learnt a lot from it.
In the process of studying, I discovered that Prophet Ezekiel was not just a prophet, he was a man filled with the holy spirit.
One outstanding thing about him is that before God sent him to deliver a message to the children of Israel who rebelled against him, he first and foremost strengthened himself.
This simply means that God can not send a man to deliver a message to his people without fortifying him. A weak being can not work for God. You need to be strong to be able to face any challenge you face while on your mission.
Another striking thing was that God gave the prophet Ezekiel a scroll to eat. According to him, when he ate it, it became sweeter in his mouth.
The word of God is sweet; once you know it, you will always have solutions to your problems.
In that scroll, words of lamentation, mourning, and woe were written it.
I also discovered that God was training him as an intercessor. He was interceding for the people of Jerusalem and Judah.
In every family and community, there must be an intercessor. And if that intercessor fails to do what he or she was called to do, there would be a lot of problems both in the family and the community.
So if you know you have this gift in you, do what you were asked to do. Prophet Ezekiel wasn't tired of interceding for the children of Israel.
He did that because he understood the penalty for not doing his job. As a Christian, never fail to intercede for others.
Another thing I discovered in the book of Ezekiel is that God is a spirit, and he reveals his glory to whoever he wants to reveal it to.
And those things that he hasn't revealed remain concealed and also as a mystery. And until he reveals it, no other man can reveal it. God is light, and he reveals everything that was hidden in the dark. And you must search the scriptures and find an interpretation of what was revealed.
He revealed his glory to the prophet Ezekiel, though he used some signs. The Prophet Ezekiel didn't understand most of the things he saw.
You won't know anything about GOd if you're far away from Him. If you want to understand God better, get closer to him.
And remember! Whatever God asked you to do know that you're doing it to yourself first, before others. So always strive to abide by the word of God.
Don't disappoint God while running an errand for him.
Thank you so much for your time.
I remain your favorite girl @joyben.
