Spicy Seaweed Salad (known as “Guso Kinilaw” locally),
Mussel Soup,
Cucumber Salad (or known as “Pipino Salad” locally),
Pork Lumpia,
and Pork Adobo.
Especially when we’re in our 20’s, I believe that we have to balance our diet not just to be fit but also to have a healthier body considering that our metabolism is slowing already. But, I don’t know. I think mothers have their ways for us to forget our diets sometimes. In such a way that they serve or prepare the foods that we really like, right? What do you think? 🤔
My mama is like that at times. She knows that I really love spicy foods and my favorites. It seems that they’re keeping us on a challenge on ourselves’ discipline which I am always defeated. LOL
Mama prepared this bunch of food for our dinner. I asked her what’s the occasion and she just replied, “nothing.” Is that even fairrrr? 😅 How can I deny these foods and forget my diet considering that there’s no special occasion to celebrate? Mamaaaaa 😭💛 Indeed, mother knows best!
I know, I know..this turns back to self discipline. The question, how much discipline can we hold if they serve our favorites? Haha Yes, you can already tell that I am easily temped but that’s okay. I guess, I can only repay Mama through eating and loving the foods that she always prepares. It makes her feel appreciated and loved. That’s makes me happy also. I love you, Mama! 😘
