A Vision For My Country: Security And Employment

If wishes were horses anyways, I mean if what we wish for is what we get then I would be so happy because I would be granting my wishes every now and then. People have different things they wish they could change about their respective countries if given the chance to and I am one of those persons.

I might not be a political person, infact I don't even like politics to start with but there are certain things I just wish the government should do better on and if I am given the chance to lead Nigeria my country for just at least 2 days- I will definitely touch these two areas.

Insecurity: Those in Nigeria would bear me witness that the rise of insecurity in this part of the world is getting out of hand, I have been seeing on television how a full family will sleep and won't be given a chance to see the breaking of a new dawn, sometimes if not abducted, they will be unalived in their cold blood.

I have seen family lose their loves ones especially in the northern part of the country where this banditry operation is rampant, last week I watched a 10 minutes clip on how the unknown gun men were tying people down and shooting them one after the other and throwing their dead bodies into a well, I cried as a mother because it's not easy to raise a child and the loose them to people you don't even understand what they are fighting for.

So if I am given the chance to govern this country insecurity will be my first assignment, I will make sure everyone associated with this barbaric act is brought to book and not even a single person will be left unpunished because this insecurity has really scared foreign investors and right now we are going short of farm produce because these guys hunt down farmers and unalive them.

Creating Employment Opportunities: Nigeria is ranked as African country with the highest unemployment rate, and I saw a statistics that showed that Nigeria produces over 2 million graduates in a year, out of this 2 million, only 5% of them will be employed to work, now imagine the level of unemployment in Nigeria, we keep producing graduates but not even a single working industry that can employ atleast a hundred thousand (100,000) youths, this is really saddened.

If I am privileged to govern Nigeria as her President, I will make sure each state of the federation has atleast 2 workable factories that can employ over three hundred thousand people, it won't only be just to employ people, this factories will also boost the country's economy and most of the things we import won't be imported again rather they will be produced here in Nigeria so that the money goes round.

Infact when one is able to do so, the rate of insecurity will decline as people will only be busy working and not have time to take up ammunitions to go and fight or kidnap someone else before they can eat.

In conclusion, these two things might not end the problems we are facing in Nigeria but it will play an important role in making Nigeria great again.
