Hello hivers.. Warm greetings to you all.. how are you all doing today? Am sure you've been good.. Am so glad to have you visit my blog post, and today, I will be sharing with you on how I made my juicy beetroot drink. Read on;
Betroot is a well known fruit here in Africa. Before I start, I will like to explain the definition of its term to you. "Beetroot" is a plant with a round dark red root which can be cooked or rather eaten as a vegetable. This particular fruit has a lot of benefits it gives to the human body.
Items Needed; • Betroot. • Grater or grinder. • Water.
Step 1: • Firstly, I started by peeling the back of my Betroot plant. Then, I put it in a plate and washed it.
Step 2: • Due to I don't have a grinder, I use my home made blender to blend it.
Step 3: • After blending it, here's a review of how it looked like.
Step 4: • Next, I added a little water to it in order for me to be able to squeeze out the betroot drink.
Step 5: • Using my sieve, I sieve out the betroot water from the chaff.
Step 6: • *After three times of sieving, thereby making sure that the chaff has already been separated, I poured it on into a cup. Your juicy beetroot drink is ready..!!😉😂
Beetroot offers a wide range of health benefits to man. Some of them includes;
• Beetroot improves blood flow and heart health by widen blood vessels, and potentially lowering blood pressure.
• It enhances exercise performance. Beetroot juice can improve exercise and performance which helps to increase the blood flow and oxygen delivery to muscles.*
• They are rich in nutrients. Beetroot are good source of folate i.e (vitamin B9), which is very beneficial for cell growth and blood vessel health, that helps to regulate nerves and muscles.
• Beetroot helps in digestion. They are very good source of fiber, which aids in digestion and also have cancer-fighting properties that suppresses the development of certain cancer cells in the body.
