Me voy para Margarita
a la feria de la virgen
nuestra patrona de Oriente
a ver a nuestra Vallita.
Mi virgencita del Valle
protectora de los mares
de todos los pescadores
llevamos nuestros cantares.
Milagrosa virgencita
te pido con devoción
proteja a todos los niños
que sufren en mi nación.
Ven dame tu bendición
virgencita milagrosa
y sobre todas las cosas
deséame lo mejor.
Eres tú nuestra patrona
mi virgen Margariteña
cuídanos de todo aquel
que por todo me desdeña.
Vamos a la procesión
de nuestra virgen bonita
y elevemos la oración
que en el corazón palpita.

of all fishermen
we carry our songs.
Miraculous little Virgin
I ask you with devotion
to protect all the children
who suffer in my nation.
Come, give me your blessing
miraculous little Virgin
and above all things
wish me the best.
You are our patron saint
my little Virgin of Margarita
take care of me from all those
who scorn me in everything.
Let's go to the procession
of our beautiful Virgin
and let's raise the prayer
that beats in our hearts.
