DEPENDENCIA NATURAL
Si te empeñas en saber
lo que es y no es
es porque sabes
que todo pasa por algo
todo es significante en la vida
no existe el desperdicio
porque lo que llamamos desperdicio
hay quienes le sirven de alimento
o para enmendar una situación.
El sol que alimenta la vida
tiene un sentido esencial
dar los colores y vitalizar
las plantas para que respiremos
para que vivamos
y dejemos vivir sin mesquindad.
Cuando un árbol es talado
es como cortarle los brazos al sol
es como cortarle al vida al hombre
es como acortarle la vida
a todas las especies.
Sin el sol y los árboles
los ríos y los mares
serían muertos y oscuros
sin latidos quedaría la tierra
y por ende el hombre
no existiría.

NATURAL DEPENDENCE
If you insist on knowing
what is and isn't
it's because you know
that everything happens for a reason
everything is significant in life
there is no such thing as waste
because what we call waste
there are those who serve as nourishment
or to correct a situation.
The sun that nourishes life
has an essential meaning
to give color and vitalize
the plants so that we breathe
so that we live
and let live without pettiness.
When a tree is cut down
it's like cutting off the arms of the sun
it's like cutting off the life of man
it's like shortening the life
of all species.
Without the sun and the trees
the rivers and seas
would be dead and dark
without a heartbeat the earth would remain
and therefore man
would not exist.
