UN SUEÑO DE MUERTE
El día que cierre mis ojos y el inerte cuerpo sobre el mesón se apagarán los momentos felices habrá un concierto de llantos que llenarán de dolor los corazones.
Un hálito saldrá de mi como la niebla de la fría mañana y nadie lo verá y allí estaré muy triste mirando con ansiedad la angustia de los que me quisieron y extrañarán las vivencias que marcaron mi ser.
Escucharé los lamentos hasta saber que puedo irme en paz pero el dolor no me dejará porque seré contagiado por los llantos de mis seres amados.
Solo me queda esperar hasta que la tormenta pase y pueda que solo fuese un sueño al que no debo regresar.
Soñaba esos momentos cuando supe que estaba dormido en el lecho con mi amada quien me despertó creyendo que había muerto.
A DREAM OF DEATH
The day I close my eyes and the inert body on the counter the happy moments will fade there will be a concert of cries that will fill hearts with pain.
A breath will come out of me like the mist of a cold morning and no one will see it and there I will be very sad looking anxiously at the anguish of those who loved me and will miss the experiences that marked my being.
I will listen to the wails until I know that I can go in peace but the pain will not leave me because I will be infected by the cries of my loved ones.
All I can do is wait until the storm passes and perhaps it was only a dream to which I must never return.
I was dreaming those moments when I realized I was asleep in bed with my beloved who woke me believing I had died.
