The Orinoco River is one of the most important rivers in South America 🌎(apart from the Amazon River), originating in and flowing through Colombia🇨🇴 and Venezuela🇻🇪. It is the fourth longest river in South America—2,140 km—and, with an average flow of 39,000 m³/s, is the third largest river in the world, after the Amazon and the Congo. Its basin covers an area of almost 989,000 km², of which 65% is in Venezuelan territory and the remaining 35% is in Colombia. Travel with some friends to this beautiful State (Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela) just to know this immense River that connects with a sister country Colombia and admire its Flora and Ecosystem. Come and join me in this journey!

The state of Bolívar in Venezuela is characterized by a great diversity of ecosystems, including jungles, savannas, cloud forests and transition zones between them. Vegetation varies from halophytic in mangroves, herbaceous in savannas, xerophytic in drier areas, to hygrophilous in jungles and cloud forests. The fauna is equally diverse, with terrestrial, climbing, flying, arachnid and insect species, especially in the jungle zones. I was impressed with the beauty of the ecosystem of this Venezuelan state.

My friends and I enjoyed the trip 100%, it was a journey, an adventure, I would repeat it again just to know the commerce and tourism in this beautiful State of Bolivar, Venezuelan territory.
