Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros cazadores del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, últimamente he tenido un fuerte deseo por ver anime y es lo que he estado haciendo, con base en lo anterior es que hoy toca hablar de “Demon Slayer” una animación que desde el vamos llamó mi atención por el hecho de tener combates encarnizados y una animación no menos que espectacular. Sin más que agregar, prepárense para apuntar sus katanas contra los demonios pues estamos por comenzar.

Demon Slayer fue estrenada en 2019, se basa en el manga homónimo creato e ilustrado por Koyoharu Gotōge, la animación fue dirigida por Haruo Sotozaki y producida por Ufotable, cuenta con 4 temporadas y un total de 63 episodios. Es una animación de acción y aventura, la historia se centra en Tanjiro Kamado, un joven que pese a tener una corta edad ya es el principal proveedor de su familia producto del fallecimiento de su padre, tras regresar de uno de sus viajes para vender carbón es testigo de una escena horrible en la cual tanto su madre como sus hermanos estaban brutalmente asesinados, además, una de sus hermanas es convertida en demonio, producto de esta situación tan trágica emprende su viaje para convertirse en cazador de demonios para poder conseguir una cura para el estado de su hermana, más temprano que tarde se dará cuenta de que es un camino muy difícil el que eligió pero afortunadamente tendrá diversos aliados que le brindaran apoyo.

The band sounds nice, it doesn't play an important role in the series but at least it knows how to accompany the various situations on the screen.

La construcción de mundo es sumamente linda, como se mencionó en el apartado de la animación es un elemento que está muy bien cuidado, esto se extiende a su escenografía la cual captura de forma perfecta el Japón del siglo XX, lo anterior se consigue al mostrar arquitectura muy agradable, por otro lado, la mayoría de acontecimientos se desarrollan en la noche o en sitios oscuros por lo que el trabajo de luces es muy importante y ejecutado satisfactoriamente. A nivel social es bastante nefasto, la sociedad que plantea es completamente absurda y carente de lógica debido a que la mayoría de las personas son ignorantes de los peligros terribles a los que están expuesto pese a ser muy evidente, no es un problema tan grave pero en algunos casos la serie aborda dicho apartado de forma “seria” por lo que era necesario hacerle una breve mención.

Narratively there is not much to analyze, this is the weakest section since everything is reduced to a classic confrontation of good against evil, despite the above mentioned the work takes its time to explain in one way or another the abilities of both enemies and allies so it remains coherent within its rules. Finally, although its premise is basic, the animation does not feel boring at any time, the fact that it poses some mysteries and the amount of combat it has make it more than interesting.
La trama de la serie es bastante simple, la misma tiene una premisa genérica que se centra en hacer frente a los demonios debido a la amenaza que estos representan para la raza humana, eso es el eje principal de la serie y todas sus problemáticas se desglosan de ello, por otro lado, están los enfrentamientos que son sumamente exquisitos, estos no destacan por tener un factor estratégico interesante ni nada que se le asemeje, sin embargo, resultan completamente dinámicos y tensos al punto de que es imposible apartar la vista durante los mismos. Narrativamente no hay mucho que analizar, este es el apartado más débil puesto que todo se reduce a un enfrentamiento clásico del bien contra el mal, pese a lo anterior mencionado la obra se toma su tiempo para explicar de una u otra forma las habilidades tanto de enemigos como aliados por lo que se mantiene coherente dentro de sus reglas. Por último, aunque su premisa es básica, la animación no se siente aburrida en ningún momento, el hecho de que plantee algunos misterios y la cantidad de combates que tiene la hacen más que interesante.

Los personajes no destacan por nada en particular, tanto las dinámicas que estos tienen entre sí como el desarrollo que se les da a cada uno de ellos es sumamente básica, la caracterización es bastante sencilla y estos resaltan mayormente por tonterías varias más que otra cosa. El principal problema de este apartado recae en aquellos personajes que fungen como pilares de la organización que se opone a los demonios, estos tienen un desarrollo bastante mediocre que se les da mayormente antes de que exista la posibilidad de que mueran, se supone que dicho suceso debe repercutir en el espectador pero al ser prácticamente desconocidos esto no pasa, por lo que el suceso trágico tiene lugar pero difícilmente llega a impactar al espectador, aunque dichos acontecimientos si afectan de forma directa al resto de personajes marcando un antes y un después en la serie, en este sentido es un acierto. Nada que destacar de los villanos, estos son completamente planos y solo buscan hacer daño porque sí, completamente carentes de personalidad e incluso algunos no logran ni siquiera tener la presencia maligna que se supone deberían tener.

Demon Slayer tiene multiples errores es algo innegable, sin embargo, pese a ello, logra mantenerse entretenida en todo momento bien sea por los enigmas que alberga o por las peleas gloriosas que tiene en su haber, si solo se enfoca la atención en lo anterior y no en sus múltiples carencias la misma resulta sumamente agradable. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 4 estrellas de 7, la única razón por la que se le otorga una nota un poco por encima del promedio es debido a que tanto sus enfrentamientos como su animación hacen posible hacer la vista gorda sobre los problemas que tiene, altamente recomendada si desean ver combates completamente encarnizados y vibrantes.
