How you doing guys? I hope you doing well, and I hope you have time to read this, if no Look Away.

As you saw some posts ago, I was with @starkerz in Barranquilla, Colombia, the warmest place in the country, it's that warm that Google says:

"Hey yo, we have 32° but it feels like 52°, so here is the most near funerary or hospital around your area."

But it was good, after the last day of CriptoLatinFest we took a flight at 5AM to Barranquilla, but we are smart people y'know, an Engineer and a No Ranked dev are a good team, so we paid for the most cheap flight, which was at 5AM, the problem is not that is at 5AM, you can say like, go sleep at 7PM you'll have a good rest.

The problem was that we were taking a look on our plans at 2AM, 3 hours before departure, so we got completely fucked, and I think I confused a little bit, we needed to leave to the Airport at 5AM, not the departure, the departure was like at 6:40am.

So we just slept 1:30h and then we got our bags and leave the Airbnb in Medellin to the airport, and we took our flight from Medellin to Barranquilla.

And again, smart people, smart decisions, normally a Airbnb opens Check In at 3pm... It was 7am Guys, Around 7 hours until check in, so we just stayed 7 hours in the Airport, if one of you guys wants info about Barranquilla airport feel free to ask.

Once it was 2pm, we took an uber to the airbnb cause the airport is far from Barranquilla, so 1 hour to get there at 3pm and do Check In.

We get in the Airbnb at 3:10pm and we tried to turn on the AC... and it didn't work, so I told Starkerz to fix it, he is the engineer, and I can not tap to turn on... yet.

It took us 40 minutes to discover that there was no electricity, so we slept 3 hours burning our asses, and then electricity got on, at 7PM when it was cool climate.

So we went to eat, we made the video, we got back, and sleep.

At the other day we got dressed as business mans, and then we went to the CUC (Corporacion Universitaria de la Costa) to meet the ex-minister of science and technology of Colombia, actual 'owner' of the university.

We get there and they told us it wasn't possible to meet the ex-minister due to problems and time, but we talked with Academic Director of the University and we shared the plan that we had to her, and also next day we sent it to the ex-minister, the plan rn is under review to see if it's possible.

After spending 2 days in Barranquilla, we went to Bogota again, basically my house and I don't live in a cool area, I live like 5 streets from the Ghetto but Starkerz says it looked like England, I would say because of the muslims, but we have ghetto people, and if you get offended because of this, I don't care, free speech blockchain :)

In my home we designed the next step of the Colombia Plan.

La Bitcoineta

Bitcoiners have 5 of this fucking cars around the world in interesting countries, I know about the one in Argentina, El Salvador and Africa.

The thing with this cars is that they are different, the Argentinian one is a Van, the Africa one as you can see it's a camper, but they do the same stuff, go around the country and onboard people.

So we said, why we don't do the same stuff but for Hive.

So obviously I proposed THE JEEP CHEROKEE!

image.png

A POWERFUL CAR CAPABLE OF GOING AROUND THE BEST HIGHWAYS OF COLOMBIA:

AND THE WORSE ONES:

image.png

As you can see that car is not a Jeep Cherokee 1996, IT'S THE JEEP RENEGADE, so this means Jeep knows the Colombian territory and they are made for this, so I made my proposal as if I were in Shark Tank, and the judge @starkerz said no bcause ppl is not using HiveDebit, so go use it man and give some feedback.

Nah just kidding, well not at all, go give me feedback of the last hivedebit post.

So obviously buying a car in this country is not that Cheap, the Cherokee is around $8,000 and that's an interesting amount.

So it was an absolute no, BUT we are smart.

So we rented a car and leaved a deposit in cash cause we don't have credit cards and we took a Renault Logan to go around Colombia.

So I started driving from the Airport to my house, and in 3 minutes I was about to crash, cause I'm a good driver, don't question my skills.

So that was the second time I drove in a City, the first one was in Panama City in the Suzuki Alto, but here's thousand times bigger than Panama City, so I just drove more slow but anyway I made some mistakes but at least we got to my house in one piece.

We took our stuff and then leaved to Chia!

We stayed there one night and then the next day at 3:33AM we called the devil and he told us the plan, so we took the car and started driving from Chia to Cali.

490KM to do in one day, so we swapped sometimes.

Starkerz drove from Chia to Anapoima, then we changed, I drove from Anapoima to Ibague, I made just one mistake in Ibague but I learned how to use the engine breaking.

Starkerz drove from Ibague to Armenia, and I was about to die there, Starkerz is a professional Rally Pilot, he took that Renault Logan and was going 80-100 through the most risky highway on Colombia, overtaking police and using Engine Brake like a professional rally pilot.

10/10 Service, I felt like I was about to die but we got quick.

Then I drove from Armenia to Tulua, and Starkerz completed the travel to get to Cali.

We got to the Airbnb and they thought we were a couple, cause y'know an old man, with a korean young one, it's a bit strange.

But we made the airbnb owners understood that we are just people that eat pancakes.

So, in Cali we had good experiences also, we meet a student there that is really interested in Hive and have some good stuff to work with, I don't want to share that information, but I think he is really valuable for the chain and I hope we can work with this guy, we also went to some business there that accepted Crypto but no luck at all, we are talking with a guy that have a cool Pizza place in Cali.

We just spent 2 days in Cali, and then we went to Armenia!

In Armenia, we meet an interesting woman interested in helping Hive Adoption in Armenia, we onboarded her and showed her how to onboard more ppl on hive, well not we, but @starkerz explained all of that, and we meet some guys with interesting Marketing Proposals for Hive that also live in Armenia, and they fully comprehend Hive.

We didn't onboard business there, but @liz3th is doing a great job in Armenia onboarding business.

Then we drove to Manizales, one of the best cities of Colombia, maybe the best one in all the ranking, and we got crazy there.

5 Business in Manizales and @ricardoxmr is now helping Hive in Manizales, onboarding people and business, you can go on distriator and take a look to the business and posts on the business!

image.png

That photo is before I fucked up xD

So, I didn't made calculations and I didn't remembered my limits with my scoliosis and after 2 days of internal suffering, I died... But at the other day revived cause I'm not Jesus but termales can give a new life to your back, so at least we didn't end in a hospital, was a little bit scary for them cause they have never seen that kind of 'suffering' which is not at all, human body knows how to handle it but eventually like pancakes, they brake.

So at the end everything is ok, I'm writing this post from heaven.

We went to termales and I got fixed and then we figured out that there was something else broke... the brakes of the car.

image.png

Apparently the brake disc (I don't remember the name in english) was about to broke and the things that push the disc were also broken, so we called the Rental Car Agency and they tried to avoid the situation because you can not create this damage in 6 Days, so at the end after a fight through phone between Ricardo and the Agency we get them to pay for fixing the brakes, that delayed us 1 day more, but we made more job in Manizales and contacts.

After we got the Breaks working and breaking, we started our Journey to Libano, Tolima!

So we first went to a place before going to the Manizales-Murillo highway cause they had the best cheese there, so I don't eat cheese but Starkerz does and it was 4 minutes more so we went there, and you are not going to believe me but you know what thing was more interesting there than cheese?

A JEEP CHEROKEE LAREDO 1996!

So we just stopped for a coffee and cheese, and to get also in love of that Jeep Cherokee.

Then Starkerz drove from there to Murillo in Tolima, interesting town really touristic, in the highway you can see good Colombian moors, sky, mountains and everything, there is parts where you are at 2,000M of Elevation and then 4,200M, and then 1,500M was cool.

Then in Murillo we stoped to drink another Coffee cause I forgot my mate in Bogota :(

And I started driving from there to Libano and we got there cool, safe and quick, cause my skills where getting better, I just got scared one time cause it was like 8PM and idk why but I asked starkerz about if he believed in ghosts and I told him that one day I had an experience with the devil and after that in the highway it just appeared people but I got scared cause I said shit, now the devil is going to take me, but it was just people looking stars.

We got to Libano, we eat and then to the Airbnb, and we realized that there was no parking, so we just leaved it in the center of the Town, praying that the car was going to be there next day.

We went sleep and next day the car was there... but you know what else was there?

EXACTLY OTHER JEEP CHEROKEE LAREDO 1996!

So after spending 5 minutes looking the car we started to work, we walked around Libano looking places to onboard, and we got 3 Business in 3 Hours!

Then we had lunch and pancakes, and we started to drive from Libano to La Mesa, and in the way I asked him if he wanted to go to Armero (The Armero tragedy refers to the catastrophic volcanic event on November 13, 1985, when the Nevado del Ruiz volcano in Colombia erupted, unleashing lahars (volcanic mudflows) that destroyed the town of Armero and killed over 25,000 people.) and he trust me so he didn't know what was that and we ended there, and you can see the empty and destroyed houses and you can feel something when you are around there, it's part of the Colombian history, is interesting but it's really sad what happened there.

telegram-cloud-photo-size-1-5082332645466770226-w.jpg

Then Starkerz kept driving to Guataquí and we swapped, but we had a great issue.

Fucking Tolls.

Normally when I go around my country, I just go like 60km in a Bus, so I don't pay the toll, BUT WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING YOU PAY A LOT OF THEM, more than 100usd in tolls just 9 days around Colombia, at least highways were cool.

I didn't knew how many tolls were from Guataquí to La Mesa, and I just had money for 1 toll more, so we just prayed and started our journey.

And we found a toll in 20KM, but they accepted card! So I paid with card, and if you don't know, normally you can only pay with a tag or cash, never card, but this one was special, cause it received card, but it was the gov one, so highway was shitty sometimes but at least I paid with Card, and I kept driving to La Mesa and when we were in Apulo we called Mono, cause he offered us his house to stay there to chill 2 days, and Google Maps said that we needed to drive 2 hours more to get to Mono House, but when I was going out of Apulo (Colombian Mini Town), I saw a big sign that had the same name of our destiny, so I just stopped, if you want to know how to stop, just pull the hand brake, then you thank me.

I took a look on the map and you were able to get in 30 minutes to the place, so I just said, pray that there's no Guerrilla or that the highway is full of mud and let's go.

It was a cool highway, not the best one but you were able to go through it, and we got in 30 minutes to the place.

We get there and started talking about Life, Hive and more and then to sleep.

The next day early y'know what I did?

I DROVE A JEEP CHEROKEE RENEGADE 1996!

AND IT'S FUCKING AMAZING, YOU JUST PUT FIRST GEAR AND THERE'S NO PERFECT POINT IN THE CLUTCH, YOU JUST RELEASE IT A LITTLE BIT AND ACCELERATE!

AND IF YOU PUT 4WD, YOU CAN START IN THIRD GEAR!

IN FUCKING THIRD GEAR! YOU CAN GO INTO A RIVER, INTO ROCKS AND YOU DON'T FEEL ANYTHING!

So it was fucking amazing, and then we went to the City to take a look, but then Starkerz wanted to onboard more business, and yes sir, more business cause this is productive as hell, we got 2 business more!

And then we got back to Mono House after a productive day, we played Tejo and drink beer and next day you know what I did?

YES YOU'RE RIGHT I DROVE AGAIN THE JEEP CHEROKEE!

IF YOU PUT 4WD AND REVERSE, YOU CAN GO 0 TO 100 IN 0.01 SECONDS IT'S FUCKING AMAZING, YOU CAN GO UP HILLS WITH 4WD IN THIRD GEAR AND JUST PETTING THE ACCELERATOR!

And after driving the Jeep we leaved to Bogota!

The end of our trip, so we started driving, my driving skills were really good, but GOOGLE MAPS WANTED TO KILL US, google maps told us to go Left on a mini highway to get into a big one, and there was no signs on the floor, so you don't know how is the rule, and when I was driving, THERE WAS A FUCKING TRUCK GOING AGAINST US, so I just reversed ASAP, and then went in the good direction, and then go to the left and go right go up the hill and join the highway, and you know what?

IT WAS IN THE WRONG DIRECTION AGAIN, 3 TRUCKS IN OUR WAY GOING MORE THAN 100KM, so I got asap in the Highway, so sorry for breaking the rules, but I'm a pancake lover, so I was made to break rules.

And we got to Bogota and spent some days more doing valuable work as HiveDebit review and post.

Sorry for not enhancing more our trip, but numbers can talk by theirselves.

More than 6 business in Colombia, 2 Proposals to Universities in Colombia, more than 3 people working on Hive Parallel economies and great opportunities to go Back and keep doing better job there.

Please, go to Distriator and take a look on the Map, and if you don't want this is what it looks like.

We have business in the places that we went.

But Mr. Jan, why you didn't had more business, more onboards?

First of all, cause is not that cheap to rent a car a lot of days, we made this big trip in 9 days and sometimes driving was really long, it took us 17 hours to get to Cali, so Imagine how many to other places.

We made our best, without money from the DHF or Value Plan, only our personal budget and pancakes.

The conclusion is the next: Get me a Cherokee.

thanks

nah just kidding, It would be interesting to have a project in Hive like La Bitcoineta, a Hive van, car, cherokee around countries in different continents talking about Hive and onboarding people/business.

This is what really makes a difference.

So thank you for reading this, this is not the most formal format, but I just wanted to share some KPI to you, even if this is not related to DHF, ValuePlan, HiveDebit or Azucar Manuelita El Mejor Azucar del Pais.

Let me know your thoughts about this, we should do this trip again? It's the Jeep Cherokee a good car? It's @blocktrades someone that trades blocks? Does @coldbeetrootsoup have chicken on the soup?
