Among others, master German architects from one of the many cities practically razed to the ground by bombing during World War II, Cologne, left part of their nascent wisdom in one of Spain's most homogeneous, fantastic, and defining cathedrals: Santa María de Burgos.
Its architectural value, even greater than its monetary beauty, makes it a timeless time capsule, whose value, revalued over time, pales, however, in comparison to the immeasurable artistic treasures that, accumulated within, are part of a living history, replete with clues and mysteries, always inviting speculation.
It is no surprise, therefore, that it remains one of the main milestones of the Way of the Stars, and within it, pilgrims still find a good part of the teachings buried in the physical vehicle of an art that often hides much more than meets the eye.
Fueron, entre otros, maestros arquitectos alemanes procedentes de una de las muchas ciudades prácticamente arrasadas por los bombardeos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, Colonia, quienes dejaron parte de su incipiente sabiduría en una de las más homogéneas, fantásticas y determinantes catedrales de España: la de Santa María de Burgos.
Su valor arquitectónico, superior, incluso, a su crematística belleza, hacen de ella una atemporal cápsula del tiempo, cuyo valor, revalorizado al paso de las épocas, palidece, no obstante, en comparación con los inconmensurables tesoros artísticos, que, acumulados en su interior, son parte de una historia viva, repleta de claves y de misterios, que invitan siempre a especular.
No es de extrañar, por tanto, que continúe siendo uno de los hitos principales del Camino de las Estrellas y en ella, los peregrinos encuentren, todavía, buena parte de unas enseñanzas soterradas en el vehículo físico de un Arte, que, en muchas ocasiones, esconde mucho más de lo que se aprecia a simple vista.
