GOOD MORNING HIVERS!
I am here again to share another fan art of holozing, and this time it's Forest Healer tossing a coin. And guess what logo it is? of course his symbol 😆, not really a big deal but it was a last minute thought when i was thinking what gesture he will make. but you know without further ado i'll walk you guys through this artwork of mine, you know I've said it a lot of times but I'll say it again, this is one of my favorite drawing so far 😆
# SKETCH
if you see the timelapse below I have been thinking which healer to make, but i ended up with forest healer, this time with a different approach than the drawings i did before.
# LINEART
Since I created the female light healer in my previous blog, I've been planning to make a clean and neatly presented piece of fan art. I realized that whenever I work on it, having a good reference makes a significant difference. While drawing the line art, I discovered that one important step in producing a neat drawing is to use a darker color for the line art in the area you are working on. This approach makes the artwork come out beautifully. I'm also curious to see if this technique applies to traditional art, so I plan to explore that and will update in my new blog in the future, if I remember ! haha! Overall, this realization has been life-changing for my digital art.
# FINAL DRAWING
If you observe closely, you'll understand what I'm talking about when I mention using the outline as the darker hue against a lighter color. I may be a bit late to realize this, but I'm glad I did at least sooner rather than later. The reason I'm able to create a great drawing right now is that I'm a huge fan of "Wuthering Waves" and its unique drawing style. It has inspired me, and I aspire to make the drawing style of WUWA my own art style.
# TIMELAPSE
Here's the timelapse as always. As you can see in the first part, I was still deciding which healer to draw. It took some time because I was also contemplating what gesture forest healer should make. It was a last-minute decision, especially with the toss of a coin, but in the end, I was satisfied with how it turned out.
# Behind the Scene
you know what? I love adding behind-the-scenes in every drawing I make, I should really do it in all of my fan art blog, I'll prolly add some more than one picture the next time.
