A while back I made a post about trying to finish all my yarn so I got three different projects going and basically ran out. Then I got the idea of a gift for my mother for Christmas so I had to do a huge yarn restock. Some of the yarn balls I got are massive :D
My hand for scale:

The stitch I'm using for the sweater is called linen stitch but it can also be called moss, granite or woven (confusing!)
I'm using a dark grey with a little off white tweedy accent, here it is without sleeves or a collar...

I started one sleeve which has a ribbed cuff then a nice big pouf increase:

Here is a closeup of the stitch, I think it looks really neat, especially when alternating colors (here I did two rows grey, 2 white, repeating):

I also started making this hooded sweater/poncho thing, currently undecided. The Christmas gift is taking precedence right now so it's on the back burner, this is made of chunky yarn so it should be pretty cozy for winter.

I added a few more rows on this raglan sweater and divided it for the sleeves but I am unsure if it may be a bit to tight in the underarm so I may frog back a few rows to rectify that:

My poor pouf, what started this all LOL. Once I am done all these projects it will get the leftover bits of yarn and will hopefully be done with!

I also bought this nice military green/olive yarn to possibly make another sweater/cardigan or something. It's calling me but I need to have a bit of discipline and finish all this stuff first :)
