I haven't posted in a while, HELLO!

I have been staying offline a bit and trying to enjoy the last bit of summer, lots of swimming at the beach, stacking wood and hanging around the garden :)

Fall is approaching quick and I don't know why but I got a hankering to start a crochet project. I learned to crochet over 10 years ago and mostly liked making hats. I have decided that I need a big project to sink my teeth into so I am attempting my first cardigan. it's a relatively simple design with nice big balloon sleeves (worked mostly in half double crochet and shell stitch for the arms). I am using this pretty lilac colored yarn. I have a feeling this project will take me forever as I have to rest often to save my wrists...

In the meantime I decided to AI generate some alien style crochet and found some of the results interesting. Looking closely at the actual stitches these are likely impossible to recreate for real but definitely could be done with a bit of creativity!
