We had a long school break with nothing to do.It was perfect for a beach day with friends No lectures,no deadlines just the sweet,sweet freedom of a day off.And what better way to spend it than with your best friends is to chased the sun and the sea?

We went to Inoburan Fish Port in Naga,Cebu.While fish ports are usually known for their busy docks and fishy smells this one was surprisingly different.It had changed from a simple mangrove sanctuary into a local hotspot for beach lovers.

The initial plan was simple escape the city and school deadlines to find some water and enjoy each other's company.We put together our small amount of money and bought some snacks and drinks.We were all very excited as we rode a jeepney to our destination and ready to have a great time.

Approaching the port we saw the city change into a wide mangrove swamp with roots extending into the water.We were fortunate that the tide was high.Instead of a muddy shore and the sea provided a sparkling playground for us.

The water was too tempting to ignore.We changed into our swimming clothes immediately and went into the water.The cool,salty water felt great and also relieving all our stress.

The mangroves far from being an obstacle became our adventure park.Their sturdy branches was reaching out over the water became our diving platforms.We took turns climbing up also testing our bravery and plunging into the deep refreshing water below.Laughter was echo across the water as we splashed and played,the shared joy of the moment filling us with a sense of carefree abandon.

The branches was surprisingly strong held our weight without a creak.We swung from them like playful monkeys aside fro that testing our balance and daring each other to try more elaborate dives.The water was our playground and the mangroves our jungle gym.We were kids again like free from the constraints of adulthood we even lost in the simple pleasure of play.

We swam,we dove,we challenged each other to underwater races and the mangroves providing a natural obstacle course.The sun beat down on us warming our skin while the cool water provided a refreshing respite. We were a symphony of splashes and laughter and a proof that enduring the power of friendship.

Between swims,we also sprawled on the shore and even sharing snacks of course some stories.there is also a floating store where you can buy crispy banana chips,sweet ninja mangoes,snacks and even refreshing drinking water or soda.

We talked about everything and nothing our conversations was weaving between serious topics and silly jokes.We shared our dreams,our fears and our hopes for the future.We laughed about embarrassing moments,recounted funny stories and simply enjoyed each other's company.
We finally departed the fading light forcing us to leave the shore and after a rinse and change we started our journey home our bodies weary but our spirits high.

The jeepney journey home was a peaceful one, filled with quiet joy and bursts of laughter as we relived our day.We were glowing with sun and sea and deeply satisfied.
