I have been on hiatus for a while, I don't know where to start. I have loads of photos to upload and lots of stories to share but I couldn't find time to sit down and write them all. But tonight, as I am done editing the photos and video for this little one, I decided to give this a chance to be posted here on the blockchain. I needed this fresh start so I could continue writing once again. I truly miss posting on Hive and I just hope this time, I'll be consistent again.
So, Pipay is the daughter of my sister-in-law's brother. I took photos of her when she turned two years old and this time, she's turning 4. Her mom messaged me on socmed and I agreed to do the shoot as I also miss taking portraits.
Was a little gloomy that day but the images looked better with a blue sky so I used the power of Photoshop to do sky replacement, this is what we always do with real estate photos, as you may know, I work for an Aussie photographer as a virtual assistant and one of my duties is to prepare the set of photos for sending to clients, I also do edit the images and we often edit with blue sky so if the skies aren't nice, we use sky replacement, in fact, I learned about this trick when I started working for her.
The location was just near our place, it's definitely the area where we usually take photographs because it kinda aesthetic with the harvest season just being done a few weeks ago, we took advantage of the empty rice fields.
Ivy's the mom and she wore twinning top and bottom! Look at that little girl slaying the poses! What's so nice about Pipay is that it was easy for her to follow our instructions so it was an easy shoot!
After this area, we moved to the side, there's a concrete road down to some houses in the next block but we figured this post look good, better try taking a few shots:
Then we moved on again and went to the nearby river. The rain stopped so we continued. I forgot to mention that my little one was also there with us. He used the umbrella as he said he might get wet. Pipay's favorite cartoon character I learned is Elsa so they brought an Elsa dress so she could change later on.
As soon as we arrived at the location, we positioned near this tree and took more shots:

It was then time to change and wear the Elsa dress! She was so excited about it but there was a problem! Her mom forgot the crown and the scepter! Pipay was about to have a tantrum but she managed her disappointment and eventually just followed to wear the dress without the other accessories.

We were back at home, it was just 1 hour of shoot including our walk to and from the location. We thought we could take photos of Pipay while at home so she can wear the crown and the scepter. She didn't mind wearing the dress once again!
