On the heels of the Steem Monsters game jam, I've been participating in the Ren'Py game jam with Solarium. I feel like I want to finish a working demo of Solarium before I work on anything else right now.

So to that end, while it's too early to share the other game jam stuff I've been working on, I am super happy to introduce you to Kingsly, our seventh suspect.

Kingsly is a unique character in that they are not an aristocrat or an adventurer, but a member of the middle-class of Steemopolis who decided to become a Clockwork Fighter. They are part of a growing class in the city who are interested in crypto art, design, and fashion. Kingsly is very plugged into what is fashionable in the city, literally as Kingsly sports a few transhuman enhancements. Did you notice the ears?

Despite living a very materialistic lifestyle, Kingsly seems oddly self-aware when you speak to them and often asks you challenging questions that might cause you to wonder if something else might be going on beneath the surface of this fun little game.

Kingsly signature weapon is the Key of Tranquility and they can be found in the arcade. Who knows what else this character will unlock for you?

There we have it! We've met 7 suspects of the game and I will be working hard at the game until the end of the game jam on September 30th. Hopefully I'll have something playable for you then!
