I've been so busy focusing on other matters that I completely forgot about Halloween. So, when I saw a few projects in Alien Art Hive, I couldn't resist creating a Halloween design.
I love the holidays, especially the one in the latter part of the year. I remember years ago, our neighborhood would experience several dozen children and their parents who celebrated Halloween by going door-to-door to collect treats. It was a wonderful experience.
Sadly, times have changes. Circumstances arose that were unkind to the children. Parents decided not to celebrate in that manner. Now, large gatherings at neighborhood centers or other venues offer children a safe haven to have fun and enjoy the evening.
Well, I no longer have to purchase tons of sweet treats, but it didn't prevent me from buying a few for myself as I would always indulge whatever was left over from the Halloween goers.
I decided to design a scene that speaks of an unusual way to celebrate the holiday in a different color palette. Not the usual orange that's typical of all things pumpkin. I kept the appearance of scariness.

For this collage project, I utilized the stable diffusion program, StarryAI to produce the twins who epitomize all things of horror when one conjures up images of Halloween. I added three pure fractals to provide lightning and a veil. I love purple and mauve, so decided to use one for the eerie vibe. Added a few colorized pumpkins, a spider, and bats to symbolize the commercialized view of the holiday.

I utilized Canva, my design program, to blend the different type images. I leave with you my procedures which began with a blank, white canvas, adding layers of elements.

I share with you my completed Halloween design:

Thanks for taking the time to view my post. I hope you like my mixed media project.
