Rest In Heavenly Peace | Mixed Media Project

For all innocent individuals whose lives ended and continue to end tragically without rhyme or reason. Some often didn't even know the moment of their demise the cause. Some cases are instant. Some are discovered not long after the tragedies. And some have waited years to find out the reason or be discovered. A few days ago, I was dwelling on solemn matters concerning violence after viewing a news report. The issue doesn't directly affect you until it happens to a family member, friend, or someone you know personally. To lose a loved one by homicide or a vehicle accident is especially devastating, since they are unpredictable and sudden. So, for my current mixed media project, I decided to dedicate this design to the problem when I happen to see the image of a face entangled in barbed wire. What struck me about the image was the shade depicting any person. I decided to surround the head with lovely and somber flowers to represent a restful peace. Hopefully. One item I did try recently was KREA. It's a free drawing program that allows you to explore your budding artist talent. Proceeding to my design program, Canva, I uploaded all images to blend. I leave with you my procedures which began with a blank, white canvas. I then added layers of elements that includes tools to remove backgrounds or detach images from their backgrounds, resize, colorize, filter, duplicate, and reposition items as required.
