Konnichiwa Anime lovers! I'm back again for my monthly Art post and as usual, I barely finished it before the month ends.😅
Last August, I went to watch the movie Demon Slayer or Kimetsu No Yaiba: Infinity Castle at SM Seaside. I opted to watch it on the second day to avoid the first day rush but my plan failed because I was not aware that it was a holiday.

When I arrived at the Cinema, there was already a long line and most of them are watching the same movie. When I reached the counter, the time slot that I wanted was already full.

Luckily, I was still able to get a movie ticket for the next slot.
The Movie was good. Seeing the animation and the fight on the big screen was worth it. I got a little teary eyed at the end because of Akaza's flashback.
Aside from the popular Akaza's flashback, one thing that I like was Zenitsu's transformation. From being a coward demon slayer, He became fearless, fueled by rage and his desire to avenge his master. And this is why I decided to make a fanart of Zenitsu for this month.
PROCESS
Here's my messy initial/rough sketch

I started painting the hair and coat's base color and I realized that it's faster to fill it with solid colors first.

After filling the base colors, I started painting the uniform first.
I tried the new settings that I made on the brushes I use. Instead of the standard mixing, I used the Perceptual mixing method.

Next, I painted the cloak here and after that I changed the tone curve of the colors, as it was a bit unsaturated.

I separated the hair here into two parts and then painted the back part first. Then I proceed painting the hair that is blown away by the wind on the front part of the face.

I painted the skin here. I started with the hands which was the most challenging part and then the face.

Then after the skin, I painted the details on the sword handle and add some shadow and highlights.

In here, I was unsure if I want a plain white glowing eyes but I remember that he became fearless or brave in the movie and I want to capture that here.

And to finish the artwork, I added a smoke coming out from his mouth and the infinity castle as the background.
