Minna-san O-Hayo! I'm back again for my monthly Anime Fanart post and I finally manage to finish it more early. hurray😅 I was supposed to upload this yesterday, but I had my wisdom tooth extracted so I had to rest.
This month, a lot of anime franchise had released a new season. Here are a few of them. One Punch Man Season 3, Spy x Family Season 3, the new Umamusume: Cinderella Gray, and the Final season of My Hero Academia.
So for this month's fanart is from Spy X Family and I've been wanting to draw Yor Forger since Season 1 of Spy X Family but I got overwhelmed by it because I was still a newbie artist back then. Why her? well, Assassins are one of my favorite characters in animes or games. She's also really badass when she's in killing mode and when she's just an ordinary person, she's funny and naive. The Anime is really funny, heartwarming, and lighthearted even though it has some action or violent scenes. 😆
PROCESS
For this artwork, I decided to challenge myself in painting using only one layer for the character. I really need to get used to it and to improve on how I paint.
As you can see, my rough sketch is just simple. Not much detail because I want to do it when I start painting.
Next, I started painting each part very roughly since I'll be refinening each part later.
After that, I also painted the Highlights and shadows very roughly.
Then I started painting the details on her dress.
I then proceed to paint her skin and eyes. I also adjusted the shape of the hair.
After the skin, I started adding some details on the hair.
After I finished painting the character. I proceed to paint the background.
Then I added some details on it. I also added some highlights on her hair.
To finish it off, I wanted to add some rough details on her hair but I didn't achieved the way I want it to look so I just added some strands on her hair.
