Hello Anime Realm! As usual, I barely finished another fanart this month. I was busy playing a game and watching the anime version of it, just kidding! xD

The fanart I'm gonna share to you today is from an Anime gacha training simulator game where you train these anthropomorphic anime girls and participate in different races.

The game is Umamusume: Pretty Derby and it was first launched in japan around 2021, then later they produced the anime version after gaining popularity. The game or anime is based on real-life Horse derby that happened in Japan and even the lore of the characters are based on the horses that participated in the derby.

The fanart that I drew is my favorite Umamusume and her name is Rice Shower a.k.a The Black Assassin. Don't be deceived by her nickname or the dagger that she's holding cause she's very sweet, harmless, shy, and timid girl. She's also a hardworking and very dedicated to her craft. And NO, she's not a villain in this game or anime, but people painted her as a villain. She's one of the Umamusume that had a very sad and tragic backstory in real-life. I won't go into details about it cause it's not part of the game or anime.

PROCESS

I didn't have enough time to prepare the step by step images, but I still have the video timelapse of the process. It took me a lot of time in sketching and rendering. I had to redo the hair cause I want to try a different style using the CSP's Lasso Fill tool.
