Tribute to U.S Chess Grandmaster
My friend Kadiri is more current than me in chess news and updates. He sent a message some days ago and told me of the death of the American Chess Grandmaster Daniel Naroditsky and I was in awe.
He was loved by many and we all learnt so much from him.

Intro
This post is going to be quick because I'm currently at the clinic taking my drip and it's pretty hard typing with one hand and sleepy eyes. I am not too fine and gats get my medication. It's been long I had injection and almost forgot how much needles hurt. 😭
@samostically had a brilliant idea to play the late champs favorite opening- King's Indian Defense: Normal Variation to honor his memory and it was quite interesting. I won't lie I enjoyed myself and also learnt a lot.
I was able to join the top 10 of the leaderboard. I secured the 9th place and amassed a total of 17 points 👏🏼.

Today's Game Highlights and Analysis
JUST_OLA VS SOUTHGAMER
White beserked and kicked off with f3, black replied with bishop to f4.
I honestly don't play the kings Indian so I was working with basic chess fundamentals plus intuition to maneuver the board. White made a blunder with his king when trying to evade check and then then lost his rook.
White resigned after that blunder and I won the round.

JUST_OLA VS MIXZYRAGNAL
This opponent was pretty strong. I thought I was going to lose the match until he made a blunder with his queen. I moved to f5 and captured his queen. The game continued and I was able to advance my pawn to d1 and swapped to a queen. Black then delivered a checkmate and the game came to an end.
